The playground is off limits because of danger from a steam pipe. And the band room has been sitting empty for two years because they cannot afford a teacher.
These are the conditions of schools low-income areas are limited to. Schools in these communities would be helped if there weren’t such a heavy burden on local communities to fund their public schools. If more funds were allocated from the state and federal level, schools might all be in decent shape. Every child deserves a proper establishment.
